The Everest
14/15 Boys and Girls are planning to tour
Scotland and England in 2010. They will
begin their adventure in Scotland's capital
city of
Edinburgh
by touring the Castle and the beautiful city
below.
The following day they will visit
Stirling
Castle followed by a match against
a local Scottish
team.
Day four features a short stop off at the
"Romantic Capital of the World",
Gretna Green
before arriving in Manchester.
On day five the excitement builds! We
will have an intimate view of the inter workings
of
Manchester
United,
arguably the most famous football club in the
world. Because of our good relation with
United, we may have some back stage privileges
that most never see. We will have a
training session with one of United's staff,
plus take a tour of Old Trafford Stadium.
We will also play a match against a local team
from Manchester.
After spending two days with the Barclay
Premier's top team, we will journey on to
Stratford-upon-Avon, home of
William Shakespeare. After that, it's on to
Watford for a training session with former
Technical Director of Watford Football Academy,
Chris Cummings.
The
next day is all
London!
We will take a boat ride up the river Thames,
pose next to Big Ben, West Minster Abbey,
Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, shop at
Covent
Gardens and take in a show in
the world famous
London
Theater district.
The following day we will train with Jimmy
Gilligan of the English F.A. followed
by a match against their team.
And to cap the tour off, we will watch an
English
Premier League game
before beginning our journey home. It will
be an amazing tour and truly an opportunity of a
lifetime!
