Everest Soccer Club's purpose is to develop players to be able to compete at the highest level of competition. Our professional coaches will instruct the proper technique needed to play at a high level. As the players' ball skills improve, we begin teaching tactics, starting with individual and small group tactics which eventually lead into more advanced team tactics. It is our hope that our players, because of their hard work and what they have learned from our program, will make O.D.P. teams, high school teams, and hopefully college, professional, or even national teams. Of course, we try to make everything fun, because if players are enjoying the sport, their desire to play and improve will only increase.

In society many times winning is seen as the only true measure of success.  While winning is an important part, at Everest Soccer Club we use more than just winning to evaluate success.  Playing quality soccer, technical performance, tactical awareness, improvement, teamwork, etc. are also important facets of success to the developing player.  The pressure then is placed not just on the end result, but on the coach and the players to increase the team's and player's ability to perform well.  Having teams run laps after a loss or when  the opponent scores focus only on a a single aspect of the game (fitness).  We are concerned about creating a learning environment that develops a deep knowledge of the game where a player can succeed in all aspects of the game.
